WDTC Flight booking references

Hi all,

I booked a package deal via WDTC, flying with Virgin to Orlando in September and staying in CBR. Just wondering if anyone knows when I get the booking reference from Disney for the flight so I can choose seats or possibly do an upgrade?

We emailed Disney when we booked a package in 2017 and they gave us the flight reference so we could book seats. We'd only paid the deposit at that point 😊

I got mine at the time of booking (over the phone) so I'd just ring and ask for it. I'd only paid a deposit too, but it allowed me to log in and book seats with Virgin. You wont be able to upgrade with Virgin directly or online, you'll have to go through Disney as they are your agent.

Just note we booked with WDTC to fly BA and they wouldn�t give us reference until we had paid flights in full. Not sure if we just got a weird person on the phone that day though!

Hmm weird. I rang them and got the reference number. Logged into Virgin Atlantic site and reserverd a seat. Haven't paid more than the deposit.

Yeah the really weird thing is the year before we did exactly the same and booked through WDTC although with VA not BA and that time we just paid deposit same as you. Was it a grumpy phone person? Different airlines? Change in policy? WE WILL NEVER KNOW...
