3 Caballeros in WDW: Travel Day

Hello everyone.

I thought I would do a mini photo trip and food report of our trip to Walt Disney World, September 2018.

The cast:
Me - Ben, Disney freak and chief planner
Mum - lover of Disney World and happily retired from teaching
Dad - always says let's go somewhere different next year but then agrees Disney World is the best!

We are flying with Virgin Atlantic on 10th September from London Gatwick. We will be hiring a car from Alamo and driving to the hotel.
We are staying at Saratoga Springs for 10 nights with DDP, then 1 night at the Beach Club and 4 nights at Polynesian Village resort.

I will be posting any interesting things I see, hotels, parks and of course the food!
If you want an update on anything in particular let me know. 😁

Let's do this...

We stayed in the Premier inn last night, near Gatwick airport.
Was okay, rooms were recently refurbed.

First time for us flying from Gatwick as I moved to London from Leeds last year.

I really like Gatwick, so much nicer than Heathrow.

We booked the No.1 lounge. Really like it in here, it's so quiet and comfy.

On the plane now waiting to take off... see you in 8ish hours. 😁

Nearly there...

Hello old friend. Always know you're in Orlando when you see this lobby.

Minnie Van!

We picked up our resort mugs from Artist's Palette.

Dinner was at Artist's Palette

Absolutely shattered, we're off to sleep. Night.

Hiya
I thought the lounge was fab, really quiet and comfy.
The only downside was that they were not good at keeping the food topped up. A lot of the cooked items had run out and you had to ask for bread rolls. The staff that were trying to keep the food topped up seemed very stressed.
Other than that though I would definitely go again, we’ll worth the money and the premium security.
