Changing ticket start date

I've just realised I arrive at MCO 9pm so there's no way I'm going to any parks on my first day; but my flight home is equally late.
MDE says my tickets are valid 14 days from the day I arrive so that means on my last day I won't have access to the parks
Can I get this changed? I booked both resort and park tickets through the official Disney site

Your ticket is valid for 14 days from the first time you use it to enter a park.

They're valid to use from that date, but don't actually activate until you use them to enter a park for the first time. So if your first day is the day after check in, then you'll still be able to use them on check out day. We do it every year

Oh that's OK then. It says on my booking valid from the 19th but that I assume then doesn't mean 'activated' on that date, just that I can't activate it before that?

Yes, that's right. The countdown doesn't start until you actually use the ticket for the first time.

Also not sure if you know but it's possible to get 15 days on the 14 day ticket if you have a day off in between [unless things have changed]. So say you activate on the 19th September you could use it on the 3rd October.
