Some homeowners use their garage as a games room, some don't - they can get hot as they will not usually have aircon (this would contravene the regulations regarding habitable space). If it's important to you, suggest you check with the owner.
Many resort communities have a clubhouse for guests - for example, at Windsor Hills they have a games room with pool tables, table tennis, table football & arcade games, a family cinema and a fitness room in the clubhouse. |

Using garages as games rooms makes them stink and hot as hell - not recommended.

Steady on guys, from my experience with Florida villas the build up of heat and lack of circulation leads to the garage really humming. I'm not talking about bins being in there but just a heat & smell that makes it unbearable to stay in there for too long. Some of you may have done things to alleviate these problems but I'm just speaking from personal experience.

I'm off to cancel the holiday if that's the case. I am so phobic of snakes!

Ignore the snake jibes. Most of them are under 12ft long anyways. Besides, the bears and gators often disturb them and they move on
Can't say I've ever experienced a hot or smelly games room, so not at all sure on what that is based on. Edited at 01:29 AM. |
