Not sure if its already been mentioned, Give Kids The World village for the children on Wish trips is closing due to the hurricane, it must be so scary for anyone out there at the moment, not much of a holiday. Stay safe. X

We are due to fly on Saturday from Dublin with Aer Lingus
The flight today went ok and they don't do a Friday flight so hopefully no knock on effect and we get to fly on Saturday as planned

Oh that's a real pain
We're with Thomas Cook, fingers crossed, no notifications of change so far, just phoned them.

Just put yourself in the position of the folks who should be flying out tomorrow, how would you feel if you were told you would have to wait until next week when there were spaces on other flights? VA and BA are just trying to do their best for everyone involved and minimise the inconvenience to all.

Interestingly they have taken completely different approaches. VS have move people from Fri to Sat and Sat to Sun which is an unusual step in the airline business. BA have just cancelled the Friday flights.

We are out here at the moment, just got some supplies from Walgreen's as Walmart we went to closed at 14:00. Now heading. Back to room to tell Alamo we need the car an extra day and try to extend our sapphire falls stay an extra day as we were on the VS016 flight Saturday, now delayed until Sunday.

Don't want to make you worry more, but a lot depends if the return flight MCO-DUB manages to leave this evening. If things get progressively worse the flight may not leave Orlando until Saturday. I don't think Aer Lingus would have a spare plane available to fly out the DUB-MCO passengers.
