If using for part pay of seats (Miles plus money) then you get 0.6p per point discounted off your fare.

Thanks all for your replies. Is it right that we can keep their accounts active by purchasing 1000 points? If that’s the case we can leave them in their accounts and the next lot of points will be added in September. That way either they or us may be able to use in future.

What's the expiry date?

Are you familiar with:

That alone would keep it active without you having to buy any miles.

There are free ways to keep these active:

Tesco Clubcard - convert to miles
e-Rewards - free surveys online - convert to miles
Virgin credit card - spend on this instead of debit card and repay straight away or before when the bill is due to avoid interest.
