Personally they don’t float my boat but then again a car is a means of getting safely from a to b for me. If people want to spend their money on them that’s their business just like where we go on holiday, buying an expensive mobile phone etc

Probably only those of us of a certain age remember him.
Sir Gerald Nabaro the businessman and Politician owned plates NAB1 through NAB10. It's down to him as a Politician that we can swap plates between cars as he forced the Govt to do a U turn when they stopped it. Good old Gerald.

Interesting to see how people view personal plates. I have had one for the last 20 years. Tramsferred it to my car from an old car as it was worth a few quid when my husband sold the car. I have transferred it a few.times so its still on my car. Might sell it now I'm viewed as pretentious by some 🤣🤣🤣

I see a Maserati on my work journey with the plate R4PID, it always overtakes me at speed! I can’t help but smile. All harmless fun !
