Florida residents park tickets.

So guys, we have family in Florida and I was wondering if they could buy universal tickets for us, and we could use them.

Florida residents benefit from a buy one get one free offer from universal just now, we were not going to go because of the cost but it's much more appealing if we get BOGOF.

Has anybody tried this?
My cousin (who lives in florida) tried to get a Disney ticket for her auntie (who is californian). but it was stated she had to show Florida residency at will call . Is universal the same?
Do we all have to go to the ticket desk at universal?

For the ticket to work you must have residency in Florida, so you can't use them.

You need a valid ID to prove you are a local resident otherwise people would abuse the offer and buy/resell tickets for profit.

Even if it's my cousin that buys them and we are all in the same party? Floridians, Scottish and Californians?

Who buys it is irrelevant, the terms and conditions for the tickets are for Florida residents only, so unless you have a staff member that doesn’t check the ticket you won’t be able to use them.

We have a home in Florida, Florida Drivers Licence, pay state taxes etc and since 2002 we haven’t been able to get Florida Residents tickets...many other UK based villa owners report the same experience. You have to be a full time resident of Florida. Your relatives who are can get tickets for themselves but they are non-transferable.

I'm afraid not, we live here and get Florida discount tickets but when we have family stay, we don't any get discount for them.

Each person must show Florida ID or proof of residence with bills in your name at a Florida address.
