I use it when the chicken breasts are on offer, always been happy with them.

I used to buy from them but then noticed that the chicken was sourced from Poland and Romania - they don’t have the best animal welfare practices so wouldn’t buy chicken from there again. The meat has been fine in the past but my last two orders were shocking bad. Fillet steak that was incredibly tough - in the end I had to make a stew out of my remaining fillet steaks just so that they didnt go to waste.
I think Aldi meat is far better for a similar price to musclemeat. |

We used to use it a lot, but it can be expensive, so now buy meat from Aldi which we think is great!
Think they possibly sell protein powder so OH used to buy that from there as well |

I used to use them but the quality of my last order a few months ago was awful. I now use my local butcher whose offers actually work out the same as muscle food for much better quality British meat.

We use them for a big order every few months and have always found the quality good. Only worth doing when the offers are right for what you want though.
Recently I have found that my local butchers do the same types of offers so have been using them more and more. I think more and more butchers now offer the likes of lean meat pack etc. I find this better because we are buying from a small business and also helps keep some space in the fridge freezer as nit buying so much at once :-) |

Thanks all ,your replies are really helpful-on balance will likely give it a miss .However in an attempt to be more organised with food shops may just bulk buy my meat.
Have used Aldi loads for meat and have no issues with the quality either . Happy Easter |

Used them loads in the past but not so much recently. Find their chicken excellent quality compared to the supermarkets.
However the mince, for instance, I don't like at all as it doesn't seperate. Now I work from home I tend to toddle off to Tescos every day and scavenge reduced meat instead, but if I didn't do that I'd be happy to go back to using Musclefood. |

We used them a few times but we buy most of our meat from a local farm shop now and the quality is so much better.

We try very hard to avoid anything Halal so definitely not.
They were also caught up in the DB Foods hygiene scandal last year. Combining animal cruelty with poor hygiene at suppliers isn't very appealing. |
