Excited about Disney
|
Celebration is a bit of a case of image over substance - looking at it from the golfer's point of view.
I feel the same about the Disney courses I'm afraid. The general consensus amongst the regular contributors to golf threads are that you won't go far wrong at Grand Cypress, Orange County National and Southern Dunes. Looking at your countdown - green fees should be lower than currently quoted as the summer months are the off-season in Florida. As suggested earlier - worth looking at Golfnow.com a few days prior to your golfing days as they have some great deals and it could allow your husband to be paired up if he wants company.

We always have at least 4 rounds of golf whilst were over there. We've played the following courses:
Falcons Fire Celebration Marriott Grande Pines Orange County National (Both Courses) Remington Highlands Reserve Kissimmee Oaks Kissimmee GC Stonegate Champions Gate I'm sure there are a few more we've played, but can't remember off the top of my head. We really like Falcons Fire, OCN and Grande Pines. |

What a great thread! Hub and DS1 are wanting to play again this year and this gives lots of info and options. We stayed on Highlands reserve last year and they got a great deal playing that course including buggy and hiring clubs- my son had to unwrap his for the round- brand new
Does anyone know how much it is to hire clubs at the Disney resorts or if there is a play and package/buggy hire price? We are there in August. Thanks
