I tried to get my kids to watch it recently but could have died when they glue the statue(you know what bit I mean
 ). A true classic film. For years and years there has been talk of another one but it’s one I pray they leave it alone. Chunk is one of my all time favourite characters of all time. “I love the dark but I hate nature”

I am.the exception... I've never known what folk see in this film. I thought it was because maybe it was a "boys" film, but judging by the comments so far I just must be the odd one out! I love the idea of old films being shown again on the big screen though.

Just watched this with DS (11) thanks to this thread... he wasn’t convinced at first ‘this is really old’ was one of his first comments! By the time the statue bit was on he was hooked and he absolutely loved it! Quality family time
