We thought dynamic earth wasn't very good at all and was a complete waste of money.

If it's that bad why have you stayed for 11 years?
Agreed, it's not a very nice thing to say to someone about to go on holiday, but it is kind of true.

The majority of good things can be found in Edinburgh, which as well all know ISN'T in Fife.

The zoo seems extortionate though. We were going to go but didn't bother.

If you're travelling with kids, Craigtoun Park is a nice cheap day out. Or I liked the children's museum. Not sure if it's the same anymore.

I would avoid the dungeons. Went a few years back and felt really cheated.

It might be true but I don't want people posting negative things about my holiday its something we have looked forward to all year & that might be why we are going a bit of solitude but with something close by if we want it one of the reasons we like coming to Scotland is the remoteness of places! Already go Craigton park as a maybe thanks

I suppose it could be taken as negativity. I just take it as a harmless joke, but that's just my humour

Craigtoun is cheap and quite large. You could spend quite a bit of the day there, and take a picnic.

Although the zoo is extoritionate and on a very steep hill, we always enjoy it there and have a great day out. We are going back on 7th August.

I think Dynamic Earth depends on the age of the child. When my kids were 8 they loved it, Heather (11) went with school there last month and didn't enjoy it as much. She said some of the activities weren't working.

There are lots of great places in Fife- Pittencrieff Park (The Glen) and the Abbey in Dunfermline, Aberdour, Fish and Chips in Anstruther, St Andrews, all of the East Neuk, Blacketyside Farm- best tasting strawberry's I've had this year- may be able to still pick your own- A915 just after Leven (heading towards Anstruther). Nice coffee and ice-cream at the deli in Eli!

Have a fab holiday

We have regularly holidayed in Fife in the past, and have never ever been bored. We've holidayed abroad past few years so haven't been up but I do want to get back.
Pay no attention Nina you will have a brilliant holiday oh and when we've been we've always been lucky with the weather.
