I personally hope it doesn’t so that it stays affordable. 3 courses is also too much for me. Although an option to choose starter or dessert would be good. That would make it totally flexible.

I would like this - we prefer starters, would be good to have the option of either.

It does in that it’s all designed to keep you within the Disney bubble. If you don’t intend to venture outwith Disney to eat at restaurants it’s great as you get to eat at some decent restaurants in the Disney parks/hotels. But what it doesn’t cover is tips which can almost add up to what you’d pay for a meal outside Disney. If you’re staying onsite and can get the free dining plan it’s good, but I personally wouldn’t pay for it.

This would suit us. 😁

We are thinking the same thing - it would possibly be a good option for us (if we hadn’t already upgraded DD9 to an adult). DH is still playing with the numbers, but we’ll have to wait and see what the prices are, and whether it’s something that would even be available to us.
I’m leaning towards thinking if should be available to people who’ve already booked though (just not those of us silly enough to upgrade our children to adults, ie me!) If it’s just going to be another option like the DxDDP, then it would seem odd that we could upgrade to the DxDDP but not the DDP+. At least it’s only a few days until we should know more about it.

This is exactly us! DH has been told repeatedly that we don’t want or need to spend the whole time eating, so we’re not upgrading to the DxDDP, but this does sound like a compromise worth considering.
p.s. I just read out your post to DH, who agrees that it’s word for word something I could have written about us!

This would work great for us. We are staying at the Yacht club and have the free disney dining for august. But if we were able to get 2 x TS credits rather than 1TS and 1QS then I'd go for a big buffet breakfast probably character ones, then a TS meal, or could use 1 TS for be our guest for example. So I hope that its offered for existing bookings

Ok I can see the advantage to 2 TS meals not sure I would "waste" a credit on a QS though but I already think it's hard enough planning ADR's without making it 2 a day !
You would have to think that, price point wise, it's got to be somewhere between the current $78(DDP) & $119 (DX), my guess in the region of $100 & in the words of the Dragon's "Im out!" SD

To make it work you need to use all the credits on TS which means more tip money too

Does anyone else think it’s odd that this is supposed to be out this week and there’s no official word on it yet?
