Isle of Skye trip

Lovely - we were there in early September and the waterfall at Kilt Rock was almost dry, it looks very different now!

We stayed in a B&B and you could have an evening meal there - fabulous home made food, bread eat.

We did look at the restaurants but as you say - very expensive for not much choice!

Did half the photography workshop this morning, it was great looking forward to later today for the other half.

Little seen part of Skye, 3 miles down a gravel track. I did walk it about 10 years ago.

It ≈≈≈≈≈≈ it down but I learnt so much.

Fabulous place. If you are able to fit in I'd recommend Skyeskyns in Waternish - really interesting little tour and beautiful products.

Lovely photos. Our son and wife are there now for their honeymoon. They saw a pod of dolphins on their boat trip too.

Our trip to Skye was before the bridge.
We couldn't believe white sandy beaches with a crystal blue sea, and palm trees.
We could have been in the Caribbean if it wasn't for the herd of black & white cows that walked down to see us and took a stroll in the water.

Scotland is fantastic.

The workshop was great, I highly recommend Skye photo academy, if you’re on Skye and looking for something like that, they do other workshops in other areas of Scotland too.

My husband is a keen amateur photographer and we are visiting Skye next year for a post retirement trip. Think I will book this for him to learn new skills for all the time he will have on his hands!
