Following on from my post above on seating. It is now within 3 days of the flight and BA has allocated seats in the background. So now economy shows as 17 seats unoccupied, the rest allocated or blocked. The 17 seats are 4 blocks of 4 at back and 1 seat at the front.

This means BA should have allocated groups together, because at the end of the routine if they have 4 blocks of 4 leftover, they had plenty of room to keep groups together.

PE - Upper Deck 2 single seats unoccupied with 20HK blocked
PE - Lower Deck 18 seats unoccupied with row 14 blocked
EC - Upper Deck Full with 8 seats blocked
EC - Lower Deck 60% unoccupied/blocked

Yes the flight is quiet at the moment VS still selling all fare buckets - things can change but at this stage I would say unlikely. Have a good holiday.
