I must admit, some take it too far

we have been a few times and it has felt like a " night out in any local town " with groups of people who have drunk too much and the atmosphere turns from " fun " to a little dark

I am a ex-doorman and i pride myself on spotting trouble before it really starts, and at times it has been at that point, we have seen " pushing and shoving " between blokes

a shame as Epcot at night is good, i am sure having a drink around the world is fun ( i have had a few cocktails in epcot ) but as the sun goes down on the weekend, the place isnt for us

I suppose the good thing is that people are aware of what it can get like, so if its not the type of thing you enjoy/want to be around, there are heaps of other parks or places to go on a weekend and its easily avoided. Just dont plan your park days so that you end up in world showcase on a Saturday night 👍 (personally, I have planned our days out so that we ARE there on weekend. Anyone want to meet up and have a moosehead beer with us, let me know! 😁 )

Oh we are well versed in 'Drinking around the world' - see all of my trip reports!

That said, we are a little selective and only drink in countries where we like the alcohol.

We usually stop in Mexico (margaritas), Germany (beer), Italy (wine), France (champagne) and the UK (Pimms for me, Strongbow for hubby) It is expensive but it's a really fun day
