Best universal tickets to buy for 3 days

Hi, we are staying at Portofino for 2 nights. We are looking at buying universal tickets, the park hopping one to get on the train.
So we really only need a 2 day or 3 day ticket. Is it best buying just a 2/3 day ticket on us website or just buying 7 day ticket?
Where is best to buy from?
Thank you

Hi, we’ve bought our 2 day 2 park hopper tickets from orlandoattractions.com. If you select the category ‘Universal USA/Worldwide’ in the Universal Tickets section, you’ll see the variations of multi-day tickets they have available. We’ve used orlandoattractions before, they send ‘real’ park ready tickets and their prices are very competitive, so I’d recommend them 🙂.

No, I’ve only ever used Orlando Attractions, but I’ve seen Undercover Tourist mentioned on here so hopefully someone who’s used them will come along and let you know if they’re any good.

Hi we're looking to do the same for next year, so interested in replies. We've always gone for the 14 day options in the past but are looking at just a 5 day park hopper for Universal, and a 2 day Magic your way (I think they're called) base ticket for Disney.
We used Undercover Tourist last year for a 2 day Sea world with All day dining, and other than a little trouble scanning the printed tickets at the park entrance, they were fine (may have been our printer).

the 2 park 3 day option looks the best, BUT keep in mind that tickets needs to be used in a 7 day window we had to buy the 14 day ticket as we had plans for the parks spread over 3 weeks ( 1 day the first week and 2 days the 3rd week ) ironically we ditched the 3rd day for a day at clearwater as we couldnt stand another day of simulators

so we had a 14 day ticket and used it twice, poor VFM

Thanks for posting this - we need hopper tickets for 3 days but could only find the 14 day ones, I wouldn’t have looked under the worldwide section! It does say it gives you three admissions to each park - if you’re staying onsite, does anyone know if you can go back to your hotel and back to the park on the same day’s admission?
