When virgin email you your ticket voucher, there will be ticket numbers that you can enter into the 'add tickets' section of MDE. This will then link your tickets to your MDE account. You'll need them linked to the MDE account to book fast passes.

Do you get a choice of bands when you check in? Or do they just give you plain ones?

You get a choice of plain coloured ones that can be personalised with a name/nickname. You do that through your MDE account.

I would always get them, at under $15 each they are great

when you leave the Hotel / Villa / etc, just aks your whole party if they have bands on, they check and they have, they have you park tickets on, fastpass's and memory maker

I bought my bands at the Disney shop in the airport. It was so easy and they attached them all to MDE for me so was ready to go on my first day.

Thanks for reply, we fly into Tampa and don't think there is a Disney store at Airport there

This definitely sounds like a great plan, we've also booked through Virgin and will buy the magic bands at the airport. I didn't realise that this then means we don't need to pick the paper tickets up, clearly makes sense and a complete bonus.

know how many weeks/months in advance Virgin email out the e-ticket to link to the MDE? With only booking 30 days FPs in advance I hope they don't cut it too fine on emailing the code to link up
