Halloween Horror Night Prices?
Does anyone have an inkling what the cost is for Universal Halloween Horror Nights? Much internet searching has come up blank as tickets for this year aren't yet released and the old pages are dead.

It depends on when you are going. A single night cost you $55 - $85 ish. Express will cost you an extra $100 per night on top of that
Rush of Fear (Multiple nights at the beginning of the programme, usually about 10 nights) - will only cost you about $100, up to about $300 if you include Express Pass for every night Frequent Fear (multiple nights for the whole of the programme) not counting Fri/Sat $105 or $120 with Saturdays. Again add $220 - $250 if you want Express Passes for every night. These are based on my planning spread sheet.

Wow, much more expensive than I had thought! If I buy a 14 day ticket now do I add these before I travel or can I only add HHN then at the park risking there may be no availability as we will be there for the fortnight around 31st October? Or is it better to wait on purchasing my Universal tickets if I'm thinking of HHN as tickets including it will be available nearer the time from our major ticket retailers?

Tickets rarely run out, you can get them on the day ("Stay and Scream") but if you are planning to go for more than one night the Frequent Fear would be a better option. For the last couple of years they have done cheaper Express Passes which you can buy on the night but only work after 10pm which reduce the cost. But I won't hand on heart say they would do this again
There is a UK option where you can add on a frequent fear ticket to your 14 day UK tickets. This usually works out about an addition £60 - £75 (so about the same as a Frequent Fear Ticket, so we don't see the value of these) If you do go for Frequent Fear and are planning to go for a couple of nights, then you may get away without Express Passes and do a couple of houses early on and then a opt to queue but you could be queuing for over an hour at peak times so we would never recommend it but it is possible.
