Going by my link I posted , The rainforest area seems to be where the big thrill rides are which are not our thing .
The wave area there are no rides just 2 pools including a wave pool ( there are only actual pools in the park )
From what I have read though all areas are easily linked by the lazy river.

We've just booked a single cabana in the first week of Oct, for $249 ($264 with tax).

Really unsure which area to go for after reading this thread but decided on River as it seems nearest the kiddie area which is probably where we'll spend a fair bit of our time as our kids are just 4 and 7.

Really can't wait for the park to open so we can actually see properly what we've booked!

Liz

Just booked a standalone cabana in the wave village for August 21st, $299.99 plus tax! We are splitting it with Bil and partner and world out at £249 on my clarity card so only £124.50 each.

Thanks

I have just rang Universal to book a cabana for our trip - the date I wanted was $400 for a single cabana - when I asked why so expensive I was told it was because the park has just opened - however the day before my preferred day was only $250 for a single cabana - cant decide yet wether it is worth £200 to have a private area on our own for one day going to think about it overnight and decide tomorrow - shocked at how expensive it is though

Just called with intention to book a Single Cabana Unit for family of 5.

Says on their site, holds up to 6 people from $159.99 + tax

Requested Tuesday 15 August 2017.

Price came back at $399.99 + Tax. Total price of $429.99

That'll be a no thankyou
