Virgin Disney Springs Check-In

Does anybody know if you can check in at Disney Springs and then drop additional bags at MCO. My thinking is to get rid the majority of luggage at the start of the day to save having it in the hire car and then we get to the airport we can check the car seat (within its bag) and a bag of things for the day

We have just returned and did bag drop at Disney Springs and then dropped the car seat off (in bag) at the bag drop area in MCO. Didn't check in another bag at MCO though, however did shove a lot of things in the car seat bag!

It was a lot easier doing that than trying to drag 3 suitcases, 3 hand luggage bags, car seat and pushchair with small child across from the hire car return area so I would recommend it. The only issue was trying to get it all on a luggage trolley at the other end.

last time so did we, might as well use the allowance on every single bag to our advantage!

Can I request a bassinet, including seat changes here or do I need to do it at MCO?

You should be booking seats where you can use a bassinet now, not just before you're about to fly. But yes you can do that there they print your boarding cards there for you.

The seats are reserved and can only be allocated by staff. Did it on the way out.
