Has anyone formed a relationship with a squirrel?

I'm sitting in the garden now, and a squirrel keeps coming close to where I am, and when I attempt to get close he runs off. I have seen this squirrel before (admittedly they all look similar so it might not be the same one).

Over this summer I would like to form a relationship with this squirrel, and I wonder if anyone has any experience of becoming close to a squirrel?

I hate them. If you had paid attention to my been feeding thread you would recall the trouble I had with them trying to steal the nuts. Fortunately I bought a squirrel baffle which at £17.99 wasn’t cheap but it worked and they remain baffled until this day

That's actually sweet. I genuinely feel sorry for the squirrel because he must get confused when you leave.

I have never had a squirrel try to steal my nuts, but when I was 16 or 17 at the Christmas office party in the civil service a middle aged lady started touching my nuts (seriously).

Is it possible to purchase a Mickey House Baffle ? It would be well worth £17-99 😁

Despite it being stuffed, did he form a relationship with it?
