Just wanted to say we have had an email back from the one my dh sent to Avis yesterday. He sent it to the preffered customer services and copied in the CEO.
We got a great reply saying how utterly sorry they were and that it is being investigated and they will reimburse anything we were out for alternative travel. Also that there is never any excuse for bad manners, which I like that they included that in the reply. |

Most importantly I’m glad you are both ok. Disgusting attitude from Avis at the time but glad they have acknowledged and apologised and are sorting it now.
