Virgin Select Vouchers
I was just wondering if anyone had any information about using Virgin Select Vouchers. We are hoping to use our sometime late in 2019 if possible.

We used these vouchers to cover our west coast flights in 2016. I rang the first day flights were released and got our required 4 seats, as I’d been advised there may be limited seats available under the scheme, and I was unable to get our exact date but could go and return one day later than originally planned, so it was all good. And as promised, the cost of the flight was completely covered, no taxes or anything to pay. We used the vouchers for multi city flights- in to San Francisco and out of Las Vegas. We were awarded our select vouchers after being (voluntarily) bumped from our flight home from Atlanta the previous year, which was our indirect flight home from Tampa having been in Orlando for 2 weeks.

We used them last year. It seemed like hard work at first to get any flights with them to be honest. However I rang back and got a different person on the phone who was so helpful. She told me the chances of getting mco flights in summer were extremely slim as they dont release many for then, but she gave me lots of alternatives and with a small date change we used them no problem. As said above there was no charges at all, and it felt great to be sat on the plane with it being free .

Similar story as above, I wanted Christmas flights so was very limited, the first person was not interested and basically told me I had no chance!
Rang back about an hour later and a really helpful lady sorted it, we had to go from Manchester and back to Gatwick but got the exact dates. If the first person can’t help don’t give up and ring back. |

Peoples experience with the flying club/Virgin customer services seems to vary wildly depending on who you get on the end of the phone! As said by other posters, if you can’t get your preferences first time, simply ring back and speak to someone else and you may get what you want!
