Anyone who has booked with Virgin I have some questions.

Hi, I think I booked with Virgin yesterday...
I have been following Virgin threads and know this was risky but the deal was within my budget.

My Holiday is booked for March so only 204 days away.

1. How long does it normally take to link ( i know there are problems linking recently )?

2. I got told in store if I booked 21 nights I would need a 21 night ticket but it let me book the 14 ticket on line... The only reason I did this was that virgin charge a whopping £479 for the extra week compared to Disney extra £100...so has anyone ever done this? IS there chance they could cancel over this now I have my confirmation through?

3. The $100 dollar gift card isn't showing on the Virgin confirmation...
is this normal?

I am sure there is more but I can't remember them lol.

The gift card shows on my invoice from virgin. Though that is for a holiday in November this year (booked last year but sadly one of those affected by their uselessness!)

you "should" be ok i think if March. i believe the majority of the issues affect those going around Oct/Nov

though i could be wrong.

ETA - linking - give it a couple of days and you might find your booking is on there (though with problem above - this could take a little longer)

when we booked with Virgin it didn't say anything about the voucher on the MDe - and hasn't with any other booking i have made
its always just on the paperwork i received when i booked. does it not list it anywhere?

I cant find it ...I just know it is part of the offer ... I have taken a screen shot and will contact them once I know whether or not my booking is going to link... cant be bothered contacting twice lol...
Will I receive paperwork through the post or not as I booked online?

My gift card was listed on the booking invoice. You should be able to find it on line if you go to Virgins Manage my booking, then Documents.

Thanks managed to find the invoice but it isn't on there so will have to ask them.

Mine got sorted out - by Disney not virgin though. We’ve got Wilderness Lodge and the allocations we’re smaller but virgin oversold again.

I am hoping that they wouldn't sell any more non existing holidays lol...but it sounds like they have royally screwed up with what I have been seeing on here... This is my first time booking with them so I shall see

Tbh I’ve had very little to do with them since it’s been sorted so hopefully it will all go smoothly when we arrive!
