Under 3 & free park entrance
Does anyone know how they determine if a child is under 3 at Park Entrance for park entry... given I've read a lot of US kids won't have any form of ID - whilst we would have passports.
I'm wondering as we plan on travelling just before my son's third birthday but he is very big/tall for his age and I don't want to be continually questioned at every park.

Excited about Disney

I had the same question a few months ago as my wee one will be 3 not long after we come back & I've lost count of how many people tell me on a daily basis 'oh he's big for his age' so was a bit unsure.
General consensus was they wont ask for ID for the wee ones - thread link if you want a look https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho... php?t=1097598 |

All they might do is ask your child in a fun way how old they are. They won't ask for ID.

Went with little one just before she was 3. Was never once asked on entry to the parks or anything. Am sure this is open to abuse (I couldn’t blame people given I am now paying full child price for a 3 year old) but I found it reassuringly helpful and trusting at the parks in keeping with Disney generally.
I am sure if worried just taking a photocopy of passport or birth certificate would be sufficient just in case. |

Thanks everyone! Will probably carry a copy of his passport as you suggest.
