when you went to school ...di you ever ?

Forge a note to your teacher pretending to be one of your parents saying you should be let off of PE because of (insert reason here)?

According to my ex my DS14 forged a note from me to his teacher for some reason.
Part of me found this funny because my signature is appealing at the best of times when I do it!

I dont think I have ever done this but have you ?

All the time. In fact the teachers were so used to my notes when my mum wrote one they thought it was fake 😂

Oh lord yes... I hated pe and would do anything to get out of it. Once I got a load of chewing gum and put it between my gum and cheek and said id been hit in the face at break and had a headache from it and my face felt sore... cue teacher, oh yes it looks a bit swollen... one time wanting to bunk a day off school (probably a pe day) I rang my mother at work pretending to be the school matron, saying I was ill and was being sent home. I nearly failed there when mother said ill come and fetch her... luckily "matron" said I was fine to walk especially as we lived so close.

My daughter and her mates went one better when they were at 6th form. They bunked off and her mate Jazz rang in pretending to be me! I only know because I got called into college to listen to the phone recording of them giggling while Jazz said Liv (DD) had to stay home to help me look after my ill son! I kid you not you couldn't make it up.

Literally 100’s of times 🤣 PE was my enemy. Running in a nylon outfit round a muddy field, sweaty showers and getting perved by the boys. I missed every one and my “mum” sent letters every week 😉
She also sent them when I was “ill” a lot

Another PE hater here. I often forged notes and made up a whole catalogue of (I'm sure - highly dubious) reasons why I couldn't participate.
PE lessons were so much more humiliating then than they seem to be now: blue PE knickers, having your towel taken from you on the way into the showers and handed back at the end, changing rooms that always smelt of cheesy feet etc. - The stuff of nightmares!

No, but I did have a lot of ‘periods’ - often 3 times a month!

I was a really goody two shoes at school but even I did the notes to get out of PE. Agree with above poster PE when I was at school was designed for maximum humiliation...especially the communal shower afterwards ! Put me off sport for life !
