We did manage to get our pub takeaway this evening which was delicious. We dressed up a little for it and it actually felt as if we were in a pub enjoying our meal
I had surf and turf, DH had mixed grill and Georgia had a spicy burger

It was lovely and it felt as if we were out for a meal as we’d changed out of loungewear 😂 Georgia said how nice it was to put make up on (I didn’t bother making that much effort 🤣 )
The meals were huge, DH had to leave his steak for supper as his mixed grill was so large. He’s not known for leaving anything usually 😂 This is his mixed grill

As we live rural, there aren’t many places that deliver here. It was such a nice treat to find this pub delivered, and good to feel we were supporting local businesses too

What have we all been doing on this beautiful weekend

I’ve tidied up all my garden planters ready for the new growth and some summer bedding
I washed the washing line and got my the bedding out, first time this year I have had washing on the line
Cleared some things ready for the tip
I love a good spring day

I did that yesterday - it’s a bit chillier here today though . I tidied up garden and noticed some bulbs in ground are finally coming through ! I was worried I put them in too deep . Put together an outdoor coffee table and made a ball drop contraption for my babies at nursery where I work 😃 unfortunately my OH has Covid so we are on isolation so have a few days left to find stuff to do other than watching 24 on Disney 😂

I love the smell of clean washing that has been line dried, I dried mine out yesterday

I’ve been pottering around the garden too, getting my planters ready and making a list of what seeds I need to get. The good weather definitely lifted my spirits this weekend and made me feel that spring is just around the corner 😀

Good news that your bulbs are starting to appear. I have one lonely crocus flowering, I planted 50 so I am hoping that some more may make an appearance too 😂

Thank you OH is not too poorly - just a bit achey thankfully- it was picked up on an asymptotic test which he does regularly. Hopefully all of us won’t come down with it.
