Travel Insurance Question
Hi all. I posted this question on the Cruise Forum, but did not get any replies, so I thought I'd try this one.
I have just booked a 7 night Staycation cruise for September for me and DW. (If we can't get to Florida this year, at least its a bit of a break) We are travelling from Southampton around the Channel Islands, then sail down the coast of France, past Biarritz, then sailing for 3 days back to Southampton. My problem is, I don't know what to state on the Insurance quotes. With us not landing anywhere except the UK, what do I do? I'm totally stuck. Anyone help please? Thanks James |

My opinion for what it's worth is to advise your insurer that you're going on a cruise. The risk for the insurance company I guess will be the cost of repatriating you by air either to home or a hospital when you might be miles from either at sea. Mick

Thanks Mick for the reply. I may have to phone some Insurers to ask.
My thoughts are that because the ship will not be docking at any port except Southampton, then I may just have to put UK as the destination on the quote. I'm just confused because everything is different now. |
