Any tips for showing a house off?

Ours is going up for sale
Pictures are being taken on Tuesday! We've got 19 degrees heading our way so happy it'll be sunny! Atleast the outside photos will look great.

I've been and bought all fresh bedding today and cushions to jazz it up a bit. Any tips for the rest of the house?

If this bedroom is anything to go by it will sell in a jiffy! The room looks fabulous!

When we sold our house we were advised by our estate agent to:
declutter as much as possible,
remove some photos and personal items,
make sure all surfaces are clean and clear,
Clear away pet bowls etc.

Personally, for me I'm always suspicious if I walk in to a property for sale that smells strongly of air freshner, coffee etc. I wonder if they're actually trying to hide another smell (damp, smoke etc).

Good luck. Hope you sell quickly and find somewhere else you love.

I thought the same about photos actually so I'll do that as I have a side board on the landing with lots of pics on x

I think decluttering is the biggest thing you can do to help (although yours doesn’t look cluttered). Years and years ago we sold our first tiny two bed house at the same time as my next door neighbour and even though our houses were identical builds she had so much clutter and hers got no where near the amount of viewings that ours did!
