Driving from Miami to Orlando?

I’m trying to pretend I’m going sometime soon so exploring all options. Anyone driven from Miami to Orlando after a flight? Is it realistic or a bit of a stretch after a long flight?

We have driven up 3 times from Miami to Orlando, 1st time we drove straight up after landing at 4pm, it was tough going, very boring drive! The other 2 times we stayed overnight close to the airport and set off the next morning, up early due to jet lag and arrived in Orlando late morning. If we are ever able to do this route again would definitely stay overnight!

We’ve done it twice, both times we drove about half way up after landing, stopping over at Port St. Lucie.
Next morning, because of the jet lag we were awake really early and managed to get to Magic Kingdom in plenty of time for our breakfast ADR.

Wouldn't attempt after the flight. Previously we have stayed at Deerfield beach for the night, and that's about our limit. Then get an early start to Orlando the next morning. It's a long and boring drive.

Only did it once and stayed close to Miami airport for an overnight, as said previously, your up early and on the road fresh as a daisy

Done both but would def advise staying in Miami for the night no matter what time you get in, we usually book flights over 16 nights and stay in Miami for night after we arrive and before we depart

We have done it the opposite direction. Flew to Orlando. Stayed 1 night then drove down early next morning to Miami. It was fine was glad also we didn't do it after the flight

We flew to Miami last year and I'm glad we stayed the first night in Miami because I really liked Miami Beach!

We drove back in one go though and that was fine - stopped at Cheesecake Factory before heading to the airport

We drive up the same day if we can get an early flight but if it is likely to be 7pm before we get out of the airport then we find a room near the airport and drive up early the following morning as we have a nasty habit of waking up ridiculously early.
