Convertible at Christmas?
Considering this... But is it too cold that time of year to make it worthwhile? It's one of those bucket list things...
Thanks, Steve Edited at 08:35 AM. |

Nah you will be fine I'd say, if people drive with the top down on sunny winter days here I'm sure you will be fine just cranking up the seat heaters etc if needed

Depends on the weather we have spent Christmas Eve in Celebration in shorts and t-shirts with no cardigans but other years have needed jackets but have seen several people with ‘tops down’ during the winter.

We have a convertible in the UK and as long as it isn't raining you can normally get away with the roof down in any weather, you might just need the heating on at the same time.
The problem with Florida is that it can get too hot to drop the roof, so a lot of the time you have to keep it up and the air conditioning cranked up around midday. Around Christmas I'd think conditions would be better going open-top than almost any other time really! |

It will be fine during the day and maybe at night you'll just need a warm jumper with the roof down. As others have said December is better than July in Florida for a convertible.

Steve. It's in your system so you know in your own heart that you have to do it!
Go for it if it's your desire and fingers crossed for good weather. If it's naff then up the roof goes. Job done. Enjoy the driving.

It was PERFECT when we did it in January; bright and sunny but not too hot 🥵

We rented a convertible in Vegas in March when it was still a bit too chilly, we found them very overrated and a nightmare for my hair, but a bucket list thing as you say! Perfectly warm when the roof is up and you'll grin and bear it with the roof down because as said you need to get out your system! Go for it.
