Me and my o/h want to do the west coast September 2018, I have looked at flights and Thomas Cook flights are out and I can get then for approx. £860 for both of us. Is it worth booking them or should I wait till there is a sale? I thought the price was a good price as I paid a similar amount for the flights this year to Orlando. I don't usually book this far in advance and we usually fly Virgin, but I don't mind who I fly with really.
Any advise would be appreciated. MM Edited at 01:56 PM. |

I think that's a good price - but don't know how Sept prices usually are. Kayak flight search engine now shows you how prices are trending, but as always with flights - prices can be very erratic.
BA sometimes do great deals if you take the car and do a fly drive, and you only pay deposit - but obviously have to wait until October for the 11 month window.

I think they have just had a sale on SFO and BOS flights for September this year and you can get return flights to SFO for £400 per person currently on their website. Based on that you might want to wait but it is always a risk. We have just booked to fly to Boston early September for £300 return.

We're going next week. I booked in October last year and £600 pp was the best I had, I regret not booking earlier. So I would totally recommend taking the prices now, in my experience, unless you get very lucky, they don't get any better as the year goes on.

I would say that's a great price, we traveled September 2014 & had to pay £670 each for flights.
