Uber - why am I getting emails in Greek?

Trying to set up the App ahead of on our trip on 24 September and am receiving email in Greek. What am I doing wrong?

These technological things are beyond me but are you confident your Uber account even though just set up hasn't been hacked?

Maybe worth deleting it and starting again from scratch.

I had a similar issue but my emails were in Swedish, I checked all my settings which seemed to correct, I emailed Uber who also checked and said everything was setup correctly and asked me to take a screenshot of the mail, they were able to fix the problem for me in the end.

You should also consider using Lyft. I used Uber last year. This year I used a combination of Lyft and Uber. I preferred Lyft as it seemed easier to use for me, it was also slightly cheaper. Another plus for Lyft was the drivers preferred Lyft as it paid them slightly more without charging the customer extra.

Thanks all. This trip is to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary. We are staying at Sapphire Falls and then cruising for a week. We will have a hire car for 3 days at the end of the week to do shopping, get to the Port and have a hire car booked on returning from port to airport. We will only need a taxi on the Tuesday night for our ADR (Anniversary) meal at Flying Fish. Any idea what the fare will be between SF and FF and back?

I just tried your trip details in Lyft app and your fare came out at $15.19. There are slight variations for time of day but that gives you a ball park figure.
