Help needed, I have downloaded Navmii on to my phone I downloaded the UK map and the Florida map I can view the UK map o/k but when I try to look at the Florida map nothing appears to happen my question is do you have to actually be in Florida for it to show on the screen.

No, it should show immediately. When I have done the same it has worked. I would try to delete it and then re-load, that's all I can think of sorry.

It could be because it uses GPS to determine your position on the map of Florida, and obviously you're not on it yet. You should still be able to search for and save locations in Orlando, and when you're there it should look more normal.

It will load blank as your not in the USA. Try searching for something like the contemporary resort and it will bring it up on a map.

I used to use Navmii in the UK all the time, it was great but when we were in Orlando 2 years ago I couldn't get Navmii to work at all, not sure where I went wrong

. DH always uses Here at home and we found it worked great out there (especially as it can be used offline too) so we use it when in Florida now

In the search you probably have to put in a US address. Ours worked fine over there and we didn't have to change countries on Navmii.

I seem to remember a settings screen where you could choose the UK or Florida map. Can't say exactly as don't have it installed any more sorry.
