Exclamation EBAY TICKETS - The word straight from Disney

Following our ebay ticket drama I wanted to share with you all the following conversation I have just had with WDW Guest Relations

WDW take a very dim view on tickets being sold on ebay, they are appauled at how many people are paying money for tickets that then are fake / void / already used.

Guest Relations were fantastic with our case and while they are investigating the matter in full she said that the best thing we can do is tell everyone we know NOT to buy from ebay, WDW are doing everything they can to stop ebay selling their tickets and this is where they need help.

She said if anyone has a moment to spare please can they report the tickets being sold on ebay and state that they are non-transferable and therefore should not be sold on.

Guest relations were fantastic but she said there is only so much they can do and unless people stop buying on ebay then there will come a time where they have to close their services to dealing with such cases

Please Please if you are thinking of buying tickets on ebay then take note and buy from a DIBB recommended site

This has always been the advice on this site and elsewhere. Always buy tickets from an approved retailer. Why would anyone risk their holiday enjoyment to save a few quid on tickets? Just not worth the risk, but shame on Ebay for continuing to allow them to be listed.

I'm glad you were able to sort things out, I really feel for those who can't and lose all their money

You can tell they aren't fake/void or used by buying them from a reputable company and not off ebay

There are still several tickets for sale on ebay. There are also supposed annual passes which will allow free parking. I can't see that these can be genuine.

You cant until you get to the gates only to be told 'no entry' - horrible

There is no way to check tickets before you, confirmed by the disney guest relations this evening. They might be able to tell you if tickets are void but that is at their discretion and they wont confirm tickets sold on ebay

What evidence is there that the tickets being sold on ebay are fake/void/used?
There are plenty of sellers on there with good reasons to sell their tickets and you can say every catagory on ebay has fake/void items being sold.

Disney are always going to say tickets shouldnt be sold on as it will then create more more money for them if they can sell extra tickets.

Imagine you have bought some tickets from disney, then due to illness your holiday gets cancelled and you have these tickets costing Hundreds of pounds sitting there which are not part of your insurance package what are you going to do with them? they may expire before you can rebook! Why not try and salvage some money.

I am talking about unused tickets and not ones advertised as part used.
