Snow globes

A friend has asked me if I could bring back a snow globe.
Where will I find some Florida related if possible?
I believe I will have to put it in hold luggage wrapped really securely anyone had any smashed globes doing this?
Thanks

Haven't seen the large ones for a long time but you can still get small ones in the parks we've brought the large ones back in hold luggage before with no problems

I don't know about finding them but I do know they can't be in hand luggage. When we came home last year there was a woman paying a small fortune to ship home a snow globe from Stonehenge that her daughter had asked for. They wouldn't let her go through security with it and her suitcases had already gone.

They have some lovely ones at the parks. My daughter buys a new one each holiday. We put them inside my husbands boots/trainers (wrapped in bubble wrap first) inside a suitcase and so far they have all made it home in one piece.

I brought a snow globe back from SeaWorld, I wrapped it up well so I thought and put it in my suitcase, however it had smashed so I think it might just be bad or good luck! Had glitter on my clothes for months, felt fabulous!

I bought one a few years ago and anything fragile we always packed well wrapped up in DH hard suitcase. It came from Disney so had loads of tissue paper and was in a box so well protected.

My DD used to collect snow globes and we managed to bring back loads over the years in our cases. A good idea is to get some bubble wrap from Walmart but we have in the past just packed them really well with lots of clothes etc around them and have never had one break
