Is 7 days too short?
Hi Everyone, we want to make use of our AP's and would like to know of your experiences doing a shorter trip. We are going during February half term.

We've done it a few times now. Little and often is our mantra, we rarely go for more than 10 or 11 nights. Our next trip will probably be for a week.

7..10..14 Nights, the way I see it, you get to scratch that itch

We have just come back from a 7 night trip, as we also have APs. When you go regularly you don't feel the pressure to have to cram everything in so we just took a more leisurely pace.

If the cost of flights isn't an issue then go as often as you can even if they are short trips!
Last year I did 3 nights for my birthday, 5 nights to do a run Disney race and 8 nights for post xmas and new year and another Run Disney. I have done a few 3 night trips before that too. I would love to have lots of long trips but work commitments mean it's little and often for us at the minute. You can pack a lot in or you can relax and go with the flow and enjoy it either way! |

For an AP "extra" trip, I absolutely would (and have done). If it was my main holiday for the year, probably not.

We hammer our AP's but after a very long Winter decided to grab an 8 night stay in March.
It was really good I must say. Hammered the Parks which isn't like us and had a great time. I think the shortest trip I would consider would be 7 nights. Any longer is even better.

We've done 2 7/8 night trips and really enjoyed them, also found it much easier to adjust when back home.
I guess we didn't properly relax into Florida time like we would on a 3 week trip when you're tired and sleeping in by week 3!

For me personally, no too short unless I got some bargain flights. Shortest that we've done was 12 nights, really enjoyed it but could easily have stayed longer Longest to date is 24 nights, which actually turned out handy as we "lost" 3 days due to a hurricane in the first week. Next year we are going all out for 31 nights!
