Wow what a trip. Sounds fabulous. Savannah is definitely somewhere I’d love to return to.
I agree That Nachitoches is very quaint. I didn’t understand how it was pronounced but apparently it’s Nagidush! That amused me.

Welcome home! Sounds a great trip, with the exception of your horrible Air BnB. I don’t know what it is, but something always puts me off booking with them, despite lots of Dibbers having fabulous experiences.

Looking forward to the full trippie.

Sounds like a great trip overall - hope you’re going to do a report? Sorry you had a horrible AirBnB experience but I’m glad you at least got most of the money returned.

If anyone is going to Hilton Head and wants to avoid the ‘corporate’ areas I would recommend the South Beach Marina, great little hotel very friendly and the Salty Dog Cafe is a pub/restaurant with character.

Yeah it’s a shame for all the genuine hosts. The place we had at Palm Coast with Airbnb was amazing so not all bad

We think about 2000 in the car plus the flights to New Orleans . We have taken up these trips since the teens started Uni so just us to please ourselves. I feel your pain for long car trips and no WiFi it’s great because they would hate these holidays and so I don’t feel bad they didn’t come along
