Birthday Treats at Restaurants
We are heading over in October, Staying at Vista Cay, and doing US/IOA (etc) this time so not on any dining plan.
After reading various posts I have sussed out that a Landrys card might be quite a good idea as we were planning on a trip to Buba Gump and Trex and other posters have suggested that their birthdays just happen to be during the time they are there to get the $25 discount. I have noticed that a lot of the other Email sign up restaurants such as Olive garden, Millers, Longhorns, Maneys also ask for your DOB for "offers" but I wondered if anyone had experience of being asked to prove it was their birthday when trying to redeem such an offer?

Certainly with the landrys card - no one checks and managers often suggest that you ensure you go when it's your "birthday". Other restaurants - never had anyone check, same as doing it here in the uk.
Go for it, and enjoy your birthday treats |

Thanks, my email box is likely to be overflowing with subscription responses. I have been looking at the options for food and very few do not have an email "sign up for offers" option although I may regret posting my email address to quite so many!
