We did it mid September and it did feel a little weird, but given that - for me at least - WDW always feels very far removed from 'real life' it didn't really matter that it was a month and a half til Halloween, and was over double the celsius temperature it would be in the UK for Halloween

We go in August and hoping the Halloween parties start around the same time next year, we have been a few times in October and loved the party, and will happily celebrate it in August 🤣

We are in Orlando until 20th Aug next year & Im hoping the halloween partie start as early as they did this year so we get to go!
We have school aged children & hubby is a teacher so we would never go at halloween time normally.
