Refuel between Miami to Orlando?

I've got a standard SUV booked and trying to prepare myself for what the journey may bring.

Am I likely to need to refuel on the journey between Miami to Davenport? If I take the US27 route are there fuel stations along the way? Is it still a case of paying for the gas first before filling up?

I would fill in Miami ,its "only" 223+miles your SUV should have a range of more than 250 miles

You likely won't need to refuel. But if you do there are dozens along the US 27 route.

Go into gasbuddy.com and click on the map. Find Miami International and follow hwy27 to Orlando and the gas stations are all marked with the prices.

unless you end up with a hummer or something else ridiculous, youll do the trip on a single tank of fuel (which youll get in the car to start with. hire cars dont come empty)

Hi snowgirl, as others have said, you should make it to Davenport without needing to fill up.
To answer your other question, yes, you need to go in and pay for the fuel before you can fill up.

We have done this journey a few times in various vehicles. Standard SUV and Full Size and have never needed to refuel on this journey.

We normally take the turnpike route from MIA to Davenport; driven that route many times mostly in SUV and never needed to refuel but we tend to stop in the services for a comfort break enroute.
