Queen & Adam Lambert
We saw Queen & Adam Lambert at the 02 last year and Nottingham prior to that and have been looking at tickets for next June and can’t believe the hike in prices! They are more than double for the same tickets. £107 to stand and seating starts at £170 per person. I know the film was very successful but these prices are ridiculous.

I think that is very expensive. We saw them 2 or three years ago (can’t remember) in Glasgow. They were brilliant (love Adam Lambert) but I would never pay £170 to see anybody to be honest.

we saw them a couple of years ago at Newcastle arena , think it was the 1st uk tour with Adam Lambert , absolutely fab , when they came back the 2nd time it was much more expensive and now only doing London and Manchester I think , was too much for me to splash out on one night out

I wouldn’t pay that much, even for Freddie! Not keen on Adam Lambert, I wish Paul Rodgers was fronting them, much better vocals, in my opinion.

I love Adam lamberts own music but not sure how I’d enjoy him in queen. But for £170 I’d want it to be just me and him

I just saw those prices. I didn't even pay that much when I bought resale last time (don't shoot me!😬 as we were in Florida when they went on sale and sold out by the time I realised so I resorted to one of those sites! We were in the front block 6 rows from the front in 2017 and they were not close to £170 each. No way I'm paying that much to see them and we loved them last time.

My daughter would kill to see them but unfortunately yes far too much. Having said that I’m going to see Cher at the O2 next month and that was £167, but the difference is my friend buys them and I pay her off in instalments lol. Can’t afford £340 straight off the bat! She’ll have to make do with the tribute band playing at our local theatre in Jan. Bought her tickets for Christmas.

Saw them last time around and they were amazing.
I would have personally left it at that price, but DW insisted we get tickets for us, and DS (13) who is quite into Queen now after watching the movie. We're looking at it as this will be the last time we see them (and they probably can't carry on that much longer anyway!) so we can kind of justify the higher price. But still - it was £500 for 3 (quite good) seated tickets... absolutely insane really!

We often get a carer's/assistant ticket free, so we only pay for Chris's accessible ticket, but even at that, I can't justify that money.
Deggs, if the tribute band is Gary Mullen and the Works, you're in for a treat, we've seen them twice and just booked as they're in Florida same time as us next year! /Mo |
