Saturday. Day 15

Alarm went off early. We got showered and dressed and went to the buffet for breakfast. We were there for 7am and it was still packed. We went back to the room to chill before having to vacate at 8am. Our time slot had been given of 8.35am and to sit in sindhu so that’s where we went and played on our phones. Unfortunately the card were packed.

At the allocated time we got straight off no issues but then we hit the luggage collecting and it was rammed. Took us longer to get out of there than anything.

Got the car from cps and we were on our way by 9.15am. Drove up north towards home, two pit stops at Cherwell and trowell before getting home around 1.15.

We got a couple of loads of washing and trying done before getting some shopping from Asda.

We came home with 200€ left so spent about 300€

Definitely enjoyed iona and will be back on her in April.

Overall we preferred iona to the msc ships. It was a good cheap deal for two weeks and even though we do tend to spend nights in the cabin we had good fun.
We did end up booking more cruises, for December 23, then May and December 24.
Since then we have changed the May ‘24 for February ‘24 instead for a better itinerary.
