Dining confusion!

Yes I noticed that some places were available to book much sooner than 60 days out so I booked some when I spotted availability and then kept checking back regularly for others that I wanted to open up.

By time 60 days arrived I already had all my ADRs booked with plenty of scope for chopping and changing my mind. But I did notice that the availability quickly dried up at this time and now at 37 days I think, there is hardly any availability for any of my dates.

Do you have a hotel reservation linked to your account?

I could only book more than 60 days in advance for the dates of my stay.

Regarding the character dining, the company you have booked your onsite hotel with should be able to book this for you, subject to availability.

How did you book Captain Jacks?

I have a hotel package linked for Jan/Feb and can book Remy/Downtown/a few others, but there is nothing showing for Captain Jacks.

I also tried the booking line but they said nothing had been released yet.

It was just there as an option for me but at lunch time not the evening if that helps?

There is no trick or special way of booking, it is either available or it isn’t. All you can do is keep checking back.

When I noticed that some places were available well ahead of my 60 days to check in, there were others that were still not showing, Plaza Gardens with characters being one. I just looked every day, until one day it became available and I booked it then.

Sorry to bump/hijack the thread. When I use the app and login with my hotel booking (login account) I only see 60 days. Does the option (perhaps) only become available when you have paid your final balance? I seem to recall something about balance has to be paid before certain options show up? Thanks!

Mine only seemed to start working once I paid my final balance but I paid mine in full literally 2 days after booking so that I got my 0% on my credit card. It could be a coincidence that it all linked at the same time.
