Park Rules

Morning all. I've just been looking through my notes/journal from our recent DLP trip and came across a couple of points that I thought were interesting. It's around what is and isn't allowed inside the parks and the fact that these rules didn't appear to be getting enforced while we were there.

Selfie Sticks - saw loads!
Dress up - over 12's not allowed to be in costumes, think we saw at least 4 adults in full outfits!
Inappropriate clothing - there were a group of young girls, one of whom was wearing a hoody that had the "f" printed all over it!

What I did notice that was different from the last time we visited was that people seemed to be sticking to smoking in appropriate places.

To be fair, none of the above offended me, well maybe selfie sticks, they're very annoying...

The selfie sticks are annoying yes. Like you saw loads when we were last there in 2015 with our oldest who was 3 at the time. I remember getting into the storybook boat ride and being in the 2nd row, when the next thing the guy right I front produced the selfie stick and films the whole ride. Really annoying as we were clearly in the shot too and it did take away a little from our first ride on this attraction. I did ask politely for it to be moved, we were just laughed at 🤦 Some people lol x

Smoking and Fruity vape clouds in queues. Grrr.

Ah yes, vape clouds... I�m less offended by them than smoke. At least I don�t feel like I�ve smoked 20 by the time I go to bed in the evening..!
If I�d have been in shot of a selfie stick video I don�t think I could help myself and would almost definitely have been pulling faces or something! Alternatively it might have got wet 😉

We saw loads of selfie sticks and older people in costumes too over half term. It�s the first time I�ve noticed either. There weren�t any just before Christmas

It used to be just smoking everywhere which was an issue for me, but thankfully that doesn�t seem to be a problem now. Just those other little annoyances... 😕
