Don't think we can stay onsite anymore. Price increase for 2020!

I am feeling super deflated this morning.
Ever since coming back from Disney last week I started looking at prices for 2020 and they were just way too expensive. I decided to wait until today for the free dining to be released, but even with the offer, the cost has still shot up loads.
This year we paid 4700£ for 2 weeks, 2 Adt, 1CNN, 1INF in OKW studio with free DDP and 400$ gift card.
2020 they want 4970£ for the same people, but a moderate resort and only QSDP and only 200$ gift card.
I never thought I would say this, but I dont think we can stay on site anymore at this price.
Plus I would have to take DD out of school as the offer isn't available during Easter holiday arrivals.
Has this already been chewed over or am I the only who has noticed such a big increase?

I'm glad that we booked to stay onsite for the first time as there is no way we will be able to afford it again going forwards barring a lottery win! TBH I don't see us going back to Orlando again soon unless it is just to do a few days at universal Studios.

We have already said next year will be our year off Disneyworld and perhaps look at California for 2020 or staying offsite again then rent some DVC points for a few nights again.

With the extra costs of parking to factor in for us with staying onsite and the costs going up too it is making it an easier decision to stay offsite.

Next year is going to have to be a budget trip for us (I will be on maternity leave) and having stayed on site twice now it would be my preference to do so again but the cost difference is just too much, especially when you start to add in things like having to pay to park at the resorts.

Even when we've stayed on site we have still wanted to get off site and eat in other restaurants, go to the outlets etc so we will still have a great time not staying on site.

We have just priced 2 weeks with upgrade to the STD dining from Caribbean Beach in Sept 2020 and its over £4k. 2 adults. Instead were doing offsite for just over 2 weeks and a Disney cruise although will have to pay for food we can get all that with flights for about the same price.

i looked up AKL for 2020 around the same dates we have for this year and Kenwood travel (with DDP) is actually cheaper this year... and that's with a $300 gift card too. i guess you just have to take disneys price as a ballpark and see if you can find cheaper

I priced up 5 nights next year for akl but it’s a £1000 as we would have to go earlier to get free dining . Glad we are doing it this year but offsite it will be in future if we return . We are looking at the keys area and other parts of Florida now as we fancy that .

Our disney holiday was nearly £2k more this year than what we paid for in 2017, however in 2017 we had a child and infant and now its 2 children.

Mine is expensive wherever I stay as I'm a solo traveller so have to pay the whole room cost. I can't drive and love Disney so staying on site is a no brainer for me. I don't drink, don't smoke, don't buy expensive clothes. So this is my treat And as the saying goes, you can't take it with you. I have no family so don't have to worry about leaving an inheritance to anyone!
