VGC Pool closures

Just found out the pools at VGC are closed from now till April, we are booked in from the 1st till 8th April and not happy at all about this.

We were never told on booking and with the amount of things I follow have only just found out, really don't want to trek to other pools and they will be busier with it being spring break and easter hols too.

I know its not a huge deal in the grand scheme of life, but we should have been told like you would on any other holiday.
Have sent an email to DVC and told them I feel the points should have been reduced as not all facilities available. Really considering changing our booking as our kids spend so much time in the pools, it will be a right pain to not be able to just pop down to the pool. So far DLC is disappointing us before we get there with all these closures.

I'd keep kicking off until I got some deduction. Normally there is a notice when you book. If it wasn't there they've messed up I think.

When you say it's closed until April, does that mean it opens again on 1st April as that how it reads to me the way you've written it? Do you have actual dates?

No, no actual dates and when I asked on the DVC chat they didn't know either. When we booked it said on the resort page that there was room refurbs going on but nothing about the pool.
