Staying onsite, can't make ADRs

We are staying onsite in August with the Disney Dining Plan and we hit the 180 day mark on Thursday. However, although MDE shows our accommodation, park tickets and DDP, I'm still only able to make dining reservations one day at a time, not ten days worth immediately as I expected being an on site guest. Future dates remain shaded out and not selectable on the website calendar. Any ideas why? I'll try calling Disney at midday, but I just wondered if anyone had any ideas on the meantime.

Thanks in advance.

No, you just need to phone. The website is pretty bad. I've had this problem the last two trips going back to 2012 so they don't seem to have fixed it.

Thanks for the quick reply. Once I've phoned should the website work properly, or do I need to further prepare and have all my requests ready for when I call?

The website is glitchy unfortunately. I've been lucky as it's always worked for me, but it does seem to do this quite often. Give them a call (it's free) and they'll sort everything out for you

It won't work until you're well past the 180 days. At least it didn't for me, I had to phone for all my ADRs. It's the "+10" that's the problem so once you're well past that it's fine.

I did my 180+10 no problems at all last week and I am now doing them daily for the rest of the Sept dates.

However, even when I log in to MDE I find I have to open up ''my reservations and tickets'' first before it lets me book so far ahead. Worth a try

I also had problems trying to do this and ended up logging onto the USA website and it worked fine then, got everything I wanted.

Good luck

Tried both to no avail. Thanks for the suggestions anyway.

Looks like you're going the same day as us! I was only able to book one day on line yesterday - the first full day of our holiday (25th August). I couldn't go any further as we're only spending 2 nights at our first accommodation then moving to another one that night. The woman I spoke to advised me to wait until Sunday which is 180 days for our second booking, and then I should be able to get the lot.

If you can't do it on line, do ring them up and do it over the phone. I find it better in some respects, because it's easier to choose alternative times and dates if she's got it all open on the screen in front of her. Also, if you need to make any special requests (for diet etc) it's best to do it on the phone - plus they'll make a note of any special events (eg birthdays, anniversaries). I found I couldn't do that on line yesterday.
