Tower fan Honeywell?

Looking for a fairly cheap cooling fan to use in bedroom on hot nights. Really do not want to spend over £50 so I know I won't get huge quality!

I have looked at "best" reviews ( this one HY254E). It suggests it's the quietist at night-time.

Anyone got one or another make ?

Thanks.

We have this Honeywell Amazon Honeywell which is pretty quiet.
We then had this one in a hotel room Amazon Mylek which we found to be quieter and felt cooler somehow! So we use the Honeywell for the lounge and Mylek for the bedroom.

I presume the Honeywell one you’ve seen is a newer version to the one I have so I imagine it would be even better now so I’d recommend either!

Cyclonic fans are FAR better than tower fans, you can get a decent one for about £60 on amazon. We’ve got a Fochea one in the bedroom and it’s quiet enough to have on all night although we usually have it on a timer for two hours, the lights on it are quite bright so I have to put something over the base, we have a Meaco one downstairs.

In my experience tower fans get louder as they get older. The bearings gradually go. My current one (the quietest out of 4) is bearable on static but squeaks if oscillates.
